SILVER SPRINGS, Nev.–Visitation to Lake Lahontan has increased as the venue offers excellent camping locations and good water quality reported Nevada State Park Ranger Supervisor Rob Holley.
He said, “Visitation figures from May-June is up 4%,” and he anticipated the July visitation figures will be higher because the July 4 celebration fell on a Wednesday, which resulted in a nine day holiday at the state park from June 29-July 8.
