Nevada State Parks is accepting grant applications for park and recreation projects
Feb 1st, 2010 | By Bob Conrad | Category: Conservation, State ParksCARSON CITY, Nev. — The Nevada Division of State Parks has approximately $384,000 in federal funds available for local park and recreation capital improvement and acquisition projects through the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund program.
Local and tribal governments are potentially eligible for the 50:50 matching grants offered through the program. The due date for applications is April 1, 2010.
Application packages, including application forms and the grants manual, will be available on State Parks’ website http://parks.nv.gov/lwcf.htm on January 4, 2010. Hard copies are available upon request.
