Celebrate 75 years of Nevada State Parks with photo / geocaching contests and a 75-mile trail challenge.

The Nevada Legislature first created the Nevada State Park system in 1935. To commemorate the 75^th anniversary of Nevada State Parks, State Parks is partnering with the Recreational Trails Program to sponsor a 75 Mile Club, photography contests and a geocaching contest.

Christy Chamberlain of Carson City is the third person to complete the 75-mile challenge with most of her mileage completed in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. Christy completed 25.69 miles hiking, 42.69 miles by kayak and 7.1 miles by bike. Way to go, Christy!
