Now, based on significant public input received by NSHPO thus far, Nevada’s latest draft eight-year cultural preservation plan is available online at www.shpo.nv.gov/plan. NSHPO is accepting final public comments and suggested revisions, now through November 12, 2019. To submit a public comment, please contact (firstname.lastname@example.org).
NSHPO’s draft 2020-2028 plan focuses on the status of cultural preservation in Nevada, identifies key challenges and opportunities, and provides important cultural preservation goals for the next decade. Designed to preserve and protect Nevada’s precious cultural and historic treasures, for the benefit of current and future generations of Nevadans and all who visit the Silver State, the eight-year preservation plan will be finalized in December 2019, and NSHPO looks forward to sharing status updates in the coming months and years.
