The State Engineer will hold a public hearing, pursuant to NRS 534.030, on proposed orders to designate theContinental Lake Valley (002) and Mud Meadow (26) Hydrographic Basins; the proposed orders to designate, establish preferred use, and curtail new appropriations within the Pueblo Valley (001) and Gridley Lake Valley (003) Hydrographic Basins; and the proposed orders to extend the designated area, establish preferred use, and curtail new appropriations within the Silver State Valley (032), Quinn River Valley-Orovada Subarea (033A), and Quinn River Valley-McDermitt Subarea (033B) Hydrographic Basins. Pursuant to NRS 534.030(2)(b), the hearing may be held in the county where the major portion of the basin lies. 

The public hearing will be held to provide notice and to take testimony on the proposed orders. The hearing is open to the public and will convene at

Mandates issued pursuant to the Declaration of Emergency on March 12, 2020, in response to COVID-19, and in effect at the time of the public hearing, will be followed. 

Oral testimony will be accepted during the hearing. Written testimony will be accepted until Monday, November 2, 2020, and may be mailed to the Nevada Division of Water Resources at the above address.

A Public Notice of Hearing will be published in the legal section once per week for the weeks of September 14, 2020, and September 21, 2020, of the Humboldt Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in Humboldt County; and the Lovelock Review Miner, a newspaper of general circulation in Pershing County.
