$1 Million in Grant Funding Available for Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Projects

The Nevada Off-Highway Vehicles Program is pleased to announce that approximately $1 million in grant funding is available for off-highway vehicle (OHV) projects in Nevada. The application and instructions are available online at https://ohv.nv.gov/grant-program. Applications are due by November 16, 2020, and the Nevada Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles will award OHV grants during a public meeting on December 8, 2020.

Annually, the Nevada Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles supports OHV-related initiatives that provide opportunities for safe and memorable outdoor experiences around the state. The grant fund is filled by Nevada’s OHV registration dollars and can be used for trail planning, maintenance, land acquisitions, mapping, signage, law enforcement, education, safety training, and resource conservation.

Previous OHV grant projects include the Mesquite to Caliente Route Signing, Lincoln County Recreation Kiosks, Ride Safe Humboldt County, The Nevada Mapping Collaborative, and more. To view video clips highlighting previous OHV grant projects, please visit https://ohv.nv.gov/grant-program.

Today’s registration dollars create tomorrow’s OHV adventures!
