NTRPA and TRPA Lake Tahoe Governing Boards seek applicants for Nevada “Member-at-Large” position

Today, the Nevada Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (NTRPA) announced that it is seeking prospective applicants to serve as a “Member-at-Large” on both the NTRPA and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Governing Boards. As a Member-at-Large, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of Lake Tahoe, one of the most beautiful natural treasures in the world. This position will play a key role in guiding management decisions related to environmental preservation, land-use planning, and gaming issues within the Lake Tahoe basin.

The Member-at-Large will serve for a one-year term effective January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2021, with opportunity for reappointment by the NTRPA Governing Board.

To be eligible for the Member-at-Large seat, applicants must:

• Be a resident of Nevada
• Be able to attend all NTRPA and TRPA meetings
• Have working knowledge and familiarity with environmental, land-use planning, and gaming issues within the Lake Tahoe basin
