Nevada Division of Environmental Protection is updating recycling services statewide
CARSON CITY, NV – The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection’s (NDEP) recycling program, Nevada Recycles, is updating its online database to better reflect the recycling services provided by various businesses in the State of Nevada. By identifying which businesses recycle what items, Nevada Recycles will attempt to pair customers with recyclers more efficiently, helping to establish a better rate of recycling throughout the State.
Nevada Recycles is asking all businesses and organizations that provide recycling services to their communities, to complete a survey that asks for information about the facility, the recycling services provided, and any fees associated with the services. This survey is accessible through a link on the Nevada Recycles homepage, http://nevadarecycles.nv.gov/.
The information will be added to the database and accessible to the public through the Nevada Recycles website. This information will also serve to promote businesses in Nevada that offer recycling services.
Please respond to the survey listed above by July 30, 2019, with the requested information.
