Virtual public meeting scheduled for project update on Anaconda Mine Site cleanup
The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection's (NDEP) Bureau of Corrective Actions, in coordination with the Bureau of Land Management, will hold a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, December 7 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The public notice and informational bulletin for the meeting were previously posted online.
The virtual meeting will be provided on the Lifesize virtual meeting platform, which will allow the interested community to interact, ask questions, and provide comments using their computer, cell phone, or landline telephone. The virtual meeting will focus on current remedial actions at the site and the upcoming cleanup options study for the northern areas of the site, including site-wide groundwater. All interested persons are encouraged to attend the virtual meeting.
