$750,000 in Grant Funding Available for Off-Highway Vehicle Projects

The Nevada Off-Highway Vehicles Program is now accepting applications for off-highway vehicle (OHV) projects in Nevada. The grant application and manual are available online at https://ohv.nv.gov/grant-program.

Applications are due by November 17, 2024.

The Nevada Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles will award grants on December 13, 2024.

Every year, the Nevada Commission on Off-Highway Vehicles supports statewide OHV-related initiatives that provide opportunities to have safe and memorable outdoor experiences on Nevada’s miles of OHV trails. This grant program is funded by Nevada’s OHV registration dollars and can be used for trail planning, maintenance, land acquisitions, mapping, signage, law enforcement, education, safety training, and resource conservation.

Recently funded OHV projects included trailhead infrastructure developments in Mineral County, Tonopah, and Mesquite, funding for educational programs with Tread Lightly!, and providing equipment for OHV law enforcement in Storey County.
