CARSON CITY, Nev. – Serious flooding occurs regularly in northern Nevada and there are steps individuals can take to mitigate the risk to life, property, water quality, and the environment. With expected heavy rains in the forecast, the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources’ Division of Water Resources is encouraging residents to visit nevadafloods.org to find out what to do before, during and after a flood.
